Louisburg, Kansas – July 30, 2016 – Thirsty Coconut Inc. is making a splash in Miami County and will move its headquarters to 219 N. Broadway St., in Louisburg. The building was formerly occupied by Chris Cakes Inc.
CEO Luke Einsel signed a lease this week to move Thirsty Coconut Inc.’s operations from Olathe to Louisburg.
“We are one of the fastest growing companies in the Kansas City area and moving to Louisburg will allow us space to continue to grow at such a rapid pace. I want to thank Janet McRae with Miami County Economic Development and Nathan Law the City Administrator of Louisburg for working so hard to make this big transition go as smoothly as possible. We are excited for the value this move will bring our organization.”
Thirsty Coconut Inc. is a family owned and operated company founded in 2011. It focuses on beverage distribution for healthy products in schools, hospitals and nursing homes. It was originally started as a frozen drink machine company and has grown into a market leader.
Mr. Einsel said this move will allow the company to better serve its southern markets in Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas, and he can find the necessary workforce from the Miami County area.
“We hope to have our move completed by early November. We will be actively recruiting in Miami County and hope to become a significant part of the community.”
